Privacy & data notice

This page explains what actually happens when you use this Lab — not a claim that no data footprint exists at all, and not a statement of legal compliance with any particular privacy law or regulation.

Recorded Replay

When you select a role, an outcome, and a reason code and submit them, your browser sends that submission to this Lab's server over the network. The server validates it, computes your Decision Integrity Record from it, and returns that record to your browser in the same response.

This application does not write a Recorded Replay submission to any server-side store. Once the response reaches your browser, the server keeps no copy of what you submitted — it exists only on your own device, until you close or navigate away from the page.

Live

A Live run works differently, because it has to stay in progress across several steps — asking questions, choosing a role, and acting on a recommendation. While a Live run is active, what you type (including any evidence questions and your written rationale) is held on this application's server so the run can continue and so your final Decision Integrity Record can be produced.

At the end of a Live run, your Decision Integrity Record is returned to you, including your own free text. There is currently no visitor-facing way to request deletion of a Live run from this deployment.

Ordinary operational logging

Separately from either mode above, ordinary operational logging inherent to running a server — for example, a log line noting a request's timestamp, path, and originating IP address — may still be recorded by the hosting environment, independent of anything this application itself does. This notice discloses that possibility; it does not guarantee that no such logging occurs.

What to avoid entering

Do not include confidential, employer, client, personal, or identifying information in any field on this site, including the rationale field and any evidence question you type. In Recorded Replay this application does not persist what you submit, and in Live it is held on the server for the run described above — in both cases, avoid sending information over the network that you would not want transmitted at all.

Consent

This Lab does not currently present a separate consent step before either mode begins. Using Recorded Replay or Live and submitting a role, outcome, or question is treated as your agreement to the processing described above, for the purpose of producing your Decision Integrity Record.

Simulation status

Nothing produced by Recorded Replay or Live is a real organizational decision — every record is a demonstration artifact, as stated on every page of this Lab.
